On 9/29, 10/6, and 10/13 from 12:30-1:15 during Open Skate at the Faribault Ice Arena the Faribault Hockey Association along with the Faribault Parks and Recreation Department are offering a Learn To Skate program.  

These classes are geared towards youth ages 4-10.  If you don't have ice skates, no worries as you can rent them at the ice arena.  Recommend skaters wear a helmet (bike or hockey), snow pants, gloves, and a warm coat.  Please show-up 20-30 minutes ahead of time to get dressed.  Parent(s) do not have to go on the ice.  Any questions or if parents want to help please send email to ColbyLinnemann@gmail.com.

Ice skating is a great family activity especially during the Open Skates and at the Jefferson outdoor ice areas.  It is a great skill to learn and to have the rest of your life.
