Welcome to the FYHA 2026-2027 Season. We are excited to get the season underway. As you know, this year FYHA has a new look and a new feel. Please read this entire page carefully to fully understand the registration process, cost, and additional information that each family will be responsible for. If you have not yet created your new Crossbar account, you will need to do this before proceeding. Click the link below if you need help creating your Crossbar account.

USA HOCKEY NUMBER FOR EACH PLAYER

Before you proceed to the registration you will need to make sure you complete the USA Hockey registration information for each of your players. Their USA Hockey number will be required as the first step in the registration process. If you need to get your player their USA Hockey number, you can click the below link.

5) Select your position as a Skater or as a Goalie.

All mites will select skater. Squirts and above will select their position as a skater or goalie.

6) Registration Fees.

This is the most important part. Because of some small limitations with Crossbar on the registration process, we needed to combine the one-time $300 facility fee per family into the registration process. Picking the correct payment option is critical during the registration process. Also, each level will have a payment plan available as normal.

1st Player Registration:

When you register your first player at any level, you will see an option called,** 1st Player Registered ** With Facility Fee. ($300 Facility Fee + $$ Level Fee) You will pick this option when registering your first player. This will include the one-time $300 facility fee. This fee is for the calendars and this fee is made back by selling the calendars. You will have an option for a payment plan on the total amount. Again, this is a one-time fee per family ( Not per player)

2nd Player Registration:

When registering your 2nd player ( or 3rd, 4th, etc.) you will select the option called **2nd Player Registered ** No Facility Fee. 2nd/3rd/+ Registered Player ($XXX Standard Fee) This registration will consist of the standard level fee, with no facility fee and will also have an option to select a payment plan.

The $300 Facility Fee is a One-Time fee per family

The below is an example of when I registered a Peewee skater. This shows you the different selections.



If you have a discount code you will apply it on the payment selection screen in the upper right corner.

7) After selecting your pricing option, you will then be presented with 2 documents to digitally date and sign. These documents are the Parent & Players Code of Conduct. These need to be completed as part of the registration process. Follow the on page instructions then click next.

8) After the documents are singed and completed, please answer a few basic yes/no questions to move forward to the payment of your registration.

9) You will want to verify the Volunteer information and then hit next. Each returning FYHA family will be required to complete 20 hours of volunteering. You do have an option to buy out. New FYHA families will have 10 hours to complete with also a buyout option. Verify the info is correct for you family and hit continue.

10) For the payment portion, you have 2 options. You can add a Credit/Debit card to keep on file for payment. Using a card you will pay the merchant fees which is about 3% of the total. The other option is to do an electronic check. You can either link to your account, or you can type in your info manually. Every option will by default remain on file under your profile for future processes.

11) The last part of the registration process is selecting if you want to purchase registration insurance through Crossbar who uses a 3rd Party company. You can learn more about the insurance Crossbar offer at the link below. Select yes/no to move forward and read the Refund policy through FYHA. Once you submit your registration, you will get a confirmation email, and then everything will be within your Crossbar Participant profile. Right now you can only register one player at a time, so for those who have multiple players, repeat these same steps to register your 2nd player. Remember to choose right right pricing option that does not contain the Facility Fee !

** Both Mini-Mite & Mites will be presented with a question if they need to rent equipment during the registration. It’s a $50 charge and select YES, if you need to rent equipment. **

1) If you are a returning Mite or Mini-Mite player, you will follow the process as stated above.

2) **NEW**FYHA Mite or Mini-Mite Player.

First off, Welcome to FYHA ! We do the best we possibly can to keep costs low, and to attract new hockey players we wave the facility fee for new Mites. When registering as a new FYHA Mite, you will select the Payment option called " MITES NEW PLAYER" which has a discount fee of $150 to the standard Mite fee of $225. FYHA also waives the $300 Facility Fee for your first year ! You can choose if you want to pay all up front or you can select the payment plan option with 1/4 of the total being due the day of registration. You will also only need to do 10 Volunteer hours your first year. You do have a buyout option if you choose not to do the Volunteer work!

NEW MINI-MITES You are looking for the selection that says MINI-MITES ** 1st YEAR MINI-MITE ** You will also have an option for payment plan or to pay all up front. Your $300 Facility Fee is also waived your first year and you only need to do 10 Volunteer hours your first year. You do have a buyout option if you choose not to do the Volunteer work!

• When registering, your player will be put into the playing level automatically based on their age and birthdate setup within the Participant Profile. You do not need to know what level they will be playing at.
